We require a first class manager who is the best in their field to build on the continued success of the this travel company whilst achieving ambitious growth targets in line with the new company strategy. The ideal candidate will already be working within a travel environment with a strong background in travel sales market, and must have a working knowledge of the tour operator market and dynamic packaging market. Responsibilities Ш Report directly into the Sales & Marketing Director. Ш Overall Profit & Loss accountability for the Sales Department. Ш Communicate results to senior management. Ш Devise and implement operational strategy in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery. Ш Seek out tactical opportunities to ensure the performance of the sales department exceeds demanding profit targets. Ш Planning and logistics. Ш Efficiency improvement month on month. Ш React quickly to seize market opportunities. Ш Motivate individuals within the Sales Department to achieve and exceed potential through inspirational leadership. Ш Must be prepared to travel on a regular basis within the UK. Ш Make sound business decisions in an empowered culture. Key Personal Capabilities Ш A minimum of 4 years experience at a managerial level. Ш Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
